 Welcome!

Tam is an Elder in Full Connection in the Western North Carolina Conference, serving as pastor at Rocky Ridge Church. Tam has a heart for missions and feeding the hungry.  She received a BA in Psychology from UNCC and a MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is a Spirit filled leader who loves the Lord. 

Faith

Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness. 

Scripture

We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives. 

Community

Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God. 

Men's Ministry

The United Methodist Men meet monthly (the first Thursday of each month) at The Brickhouse Grill located at 455 Corban Avenue in Concord at 6:00 p.m. They share a meal and devotion together. The men also have fundraisers throughout the year. Things like a golf tournament, Boston Butts and Brunswick Stew fundraiser....

Also a group of men from the church and community meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast and devotion at Punchy’s Restaurant in Concord. 

Youth Ministry

Youth is a unique period of life, one filled with exploration, discovery, excitement and fulfillment. The Church Youth Ministry provides a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world. It is a safe place where faith guides exploration and self-discovery. 

Children's Ministry

The Gospel has a message for everyone, of every age, and in every language. Exposing your child to the Lord's path when they are young gives them guidance, hope and strength that lasts a lifetime. To learn more, be in touch with one of our Pastors.

Green Shoe Ministry 

Green Shoe Ministry was formed in October 2011 at Rocky Ridge Church when a Bible Study Group was challenged to help someone in the community. There were 10 members in the Bible Study and we decided we would hand out lunches in downtown Concord. We each made 4 lunches and we went downtown and just asked anyone we saw if they wanted a lunch.

 We soon found the homeless population and those living in poverty situations who wanted lunches. They started searching for us. So, every  Monday, we would take out lunches. We had a church bus which we used and several
